30 imagesNature and adventure photographs from New Hampshire's White Mountains. 2011 marks the 100th anniversary of the Weeks Act, the law that established the White Mountain National Forest and paved the way for the establishment of all national forests east of the Mississippi River. We have written two books about the White Mountains: Discover the White Mountains and White Mountain Wilderness. These adventure and landscape photographs are now available as stock and fine art prints.

19 imagesA sampling of the photography I've done featuring kids in the great outdoors. Children have a great way of interacting with nature on their own terms, whether they are hiking, fishing, biking, skiing, or just looking for little critters. In my experience, they usually make the pictures happen on their own. Shot in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Vermont.
